hopeWORKS

hopeWORKS provides on-site employment for our women during the first 9 months of a Resident’s stay at HopeHouse OKC. This program will help ease a mother’s transition as she steps out of a life of homelessness and begins to provide stability and hope for her and her children’s futures.

Our “Magic Makers” bake, market, and sell delicious homemade cinnamon rolls as a part of hopeWORKS. During this time, they are growing in key job skills that will be transferrable to their desired career. This program also provides trainings, certification opportunities, and a monthly stipend to provide for a family’s basic needs.

Upon completion of this program, families will be employable and are launched into off-site career opportunities.
